Wife approves of warm color.Lights work perfectlyThe Led Light bulbs are great with the candle shape and tip. They have good light and the energy efficiency advantages of Led light bulbs. The one drawback is the glass is very thin, which resulted in 2 of the 6 light bulbs cracking before arrival, and a third cracking when installing. So that means they are extremely fragile, more so than CFL light bulbs, Incadesent Light Bulbs, and other brands of Led light bulbs. Overall once I exchange them for a replacement set that arrived in one piece, they have worked perfectly fine.Antique chandelier with 5 incandescent turn tip 40w bulbs in flared glass shrouds. It becomes hot enough to char the paper socket liners within an hour. These LEDs are super cool. Light distribution is great, up/out/down. The chandelier (several of them, actually) metal parts are only slightly warm after many hours at full brightness. Dimmable is great feature. The visible elements, yellow "wires" of LED emitters, inside the bulb are not unattractive when off and are not distracting or blinding bright when on. They said they would last years longer but I found the life was a few months more and didn't really cut much cost of operation.The LEDS are handy where you need more light. The incandescents do not let you put a larger wattage bulb in a fixture. This is because of HEAT, you can burn the wiring or the socket or it just won't fit.The led bulb size is pretty much the same, there is no heat difference, and they use less power.The only places I have to be careful of is on dimmers ( not all LEDs bulb will dim ) and on speicalty devices where the heat of the bulb isneeded to operate, like bubblers, fragrance enhancers, some motion devices.RECOMMENDEDI do not know the seller nor did I get any money or product for my random review210702 1236Good bulbs but it's not dimmable.
