The bulb bigger than expected. Probably should have read the description more carefully. It’s bright and looks…ok. But it’s really lacking in color. Definitely not as nice as the pictures.This is a huge bulb! It’s perfect for soft lighting next to the bed.It’s stunningIt does not give off light like it does in the photos - you think it will have an effect that shoots the little light beams but it does not. It basically looks like a pretty polka dot type bulb.Very nice looking but they are not super illuminating. Get them for the ambience not as reading lights and youll be fine.See pics for before an after, looks gorgeous, bathroom lighting is now cute pink/purple hues, looks great off too, pretty solid silver spheres, wish they could be a little brighter but nothing a little face light for makeup can't fixI ordered the 3 pack of the Meller G80 bulbs to add some flare to my home office. I hung three of them from pendant cords in the corner above my desk. I ran into an issue with two of the three bulbs developing a very slow crack over several weeks that grew around the base of the bulb socket, to the point that one of them was barely intact. I reached out to the Meller support staff and after sending them a couple pics of the problems, they took care of the issue immediately. They shipped me a new set and also allowed me to try out one of the larger G125 bulbs. I couldn't be happier, they are great looking bulbs and one of my favorite design pieces in my office. The color consistency between the bulbs seems to vary a bit, but I don't really see that as a negative. Some bulbs end up with a more white/blue tone, while others are more yellow/green. It's a little hard to capture in photos but it's nice to have some non-uniformity among them especially when they're grouped closely together.If you're planning on using them with open pendant cords like I did, I definitely recommend going with the larger G125 bulbs (or a mix of both). You can see it in the last photo in my review. It fills out the look a lot better than the smaller G80's.Bought 3, hoping they would match in color. They do, and are beautiful. The challenge is finding the best places to put them. Their beauty is softened by any kind of shade or even glass panels of outdoor lighting, but they still have a nice softened glow of colors.
