The 2 other reviews are useless. My ride: 2004 TL 6MTThis kit is probably made in China, but so far all 4 strobes are working. I've installed them on the lower part of rear bumper (x2 on each side), tied them up with the back-up light. Many pedestrians at parking lots are not paying attention and the last thing you want to do when driving is hit someone. So, I installed them as a warning to others & my safety.I chose neon tubes over LEDs, because I like the particular flashing characteristics of the neon tubes. I've installed the control unit behind the L/H side of the trunk liner and the switch unit on the trunk lid (had to cut a square opening for access). The neon tubes are poorly made, each one installed on the base at an angle so I had to carefully force them straight. As water protection I applied silicone sealant on the inside of the rear bumper (could not cover the circumference fully) and Airbus A320's tail nav light lens on the outside with 3M's double-sided tape & silicone sealant. Note, that it is rated at 120W so the OEM back-up lights flicker in sync with the strobes, if you go the same route as I did, in which case a relay may be necessary. Not sure how long they would last, but hopefully they last a long time.UPDATE (10/27/16 EST): The neon bulbs, if treated with clear silicone sealant, is really waterproof. My lens collected rain water and the bulb was fully immersed. It still works. The disappointment feature is that even though there are about 4 modes of flashing, the pattern goes back to deafult every time you turn off your car.Installation was simple. Installed in a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6 foot bed and had plenty of wire to reach all mounting locations. Installed control module under rear seat and switch on dash. The only thing I had to do was extend the power lead and ran it to the battery with heavier guage wire and I had to extend the wire that ran from the power switch to the control module. The wires could have been longer. I also had two light bulbs that were faulty. I believe they have bad connections on the bulb side. One I can get working if I push on the back of it and leave pressure on it and the other Has a mind of its own. I can not figure out how to get it working consistently. I have contacted the seller about replacement of these bulbs and I will update once I find out how they are at resolving issues. Other than those small issues, the set itself is well worth the money and I would recommend it for your project.Gonna have to add wire to complete install they aren't long enough for a full size SilveradoThe biggest complaint about this product is the length of the connection cables. They are way to short! I had to splice all of the cable except one to the front headlight so that they would reach. When I purchased the 8 bulb kit before this one the cables where a lot longer and I only had to splice one of the lights. As for the system and control it works very well and the bulbs are very bright when put in the clear lens housings of you head and tail lights. If the cables where longer this product would be a 5 star.I installed these in the headlights and taillights in my 2015 Tahoe. I'm a funeral director and needed strobes to run when I'm leading a funeral procession. I installed these and they look and work great. They didn't come with instructions but there are great videos on YouTube that show how to DYI. They are bright and they come with 8 lights but I only used 4. It's great that you can unplug the lights you don't use it has many different settings to change the way the lights flash.Easy install. You may need to splice an extention or two. There are no instructions but it's pretty straight forward. Lights are bright and seal great. Simple to use compact switch and mode selector button. I'll be buying more soon.Great lights fairly simple install but wires need to be longer I have a short bed truck & needed to extend wires about 8' from passenger side rear tail light & about 4' for passenger side front headlight assembly other than that great lights I would recommend to friends. It was described to be 120 watt kit and the unit only states 60 watts
